COMPANY OVERVIEW
MHK Insurance Services Limited was first established in Hong Kong in 2004 as a subsidiary of a prominent international broker. In 2015, through a management buyout, we became an independent broking company headquartered in Hong Kong. Serving as an independent intermediary, MHK remains in focus on client services and using its own strength to develop broad-line treaty reinsurance, retrocession programs and special-line direct and facultative reinsurance as well as facilities.

OUR PEOPLE
Jennifer Lin
Director & General Manager
Jennifer joined Miller Hong Kong (later MHK insurance services ) as Director and General Manager in 2009. She led the team to build up a portfolio of business in Greater China and Asia and established various kinds of cooperative relationship with clients. Before joining Miller, she was Treaty Underwriter at Swiss Re for Southeast Asia region. She was also the former Deputy General Manager at HSBC (Asia-Pacific), responsible for Asia-Pacific reinsurance broking business.

Joe Ng
Director
Joe is mainly responsible for marketing, direct insurance and reinsurance consulting at MHK. Before joining Miller (later MHK Insurance Services), he was Deputy General Manager of Taiping Reinsurance. In the past 30 years, Joe has travelled extensively to Mainland China and other Asia countries, developing a broad base of clientele. Joe joined Taiping Insurance Group in 1970, he was one of the founding members of Taiping Reinsurance when it was set up in September 1980. He has rich experiences in a variety of insurance products: Life Assurance, Miscellaneous Accident Insurance, Property Insurance, Claims Settlement and Marketing.

Jeffrey Yao
Director
Jeffrey is responsible for client development for China market. Prior to joining MHK in 2020, he had over 30 years insurance working experience out of widerange of Non-Lifeinsurance operation and management on products, underwriting, reinsurance and claims etc. He was with Generali Group for 22 years and some recent years served as Chief Underwriterfor Generali China looking after underwriting and reinsurance.In early years, he was the head of Claims for AIU in China. Jeffrey has extensive knowledge on most classes of Non-Life insurance.

Chris Wu
Senior Manager, Treaty / Head of Operations
Chris has over 20 years’ experience in the Hong Kong insurance market, joining Miller Hong Kong (later MHK Insurance Services) in 2009 from HSBC Insurance Broker. He provides technical expertise for the Hong Kong broking team and is responsible for non-marine and marine treaty placements for Greater China and Korean clients. He is also the Head of Operations.

Rebecca Wong
Senior Manager Facultative
Rebecca joined Miller Hong Kong (later MHK Insurance Services) in 2011 handling placement for Facultative business and Marine business. Prior to joining Miller, Rebecca held the role of Assistant Manager at Downlands Liability Management Ltd where she specialised in commutation negotiation and claims’ management. She had also worked for QBE in its underwriting department arranging outward facultative reinsurance.

Tammy Tam
Senior Manager, Life Insurance
Tammy joined MHK Insurance Services as a pioneer of the life insurance division. She gained her expertise in the life insurance sector after 15 years of working experience with insurance companies, namely AIA, Manulife and Ageas. Her strengths on insurance operations, development, regulations and products build up her profession and passion for her clients, selecting products which best suits each clients’ individual needs.
